Hey---if someone changed the thread title to
      SECOND SEQUEL DISCUSSION
we could go another five pages!
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix

Actually t-bolt, Jaws 3-D was very highly anticiapted back in early 1983. Studio execs were planning on about 80% of Jaws 2's box office take. However come the end of 1983, Return Of The Jedi ran away with about 250 million. Superman III made about 14.5 million dollars more than Jaws 3-D...probably because Jaws 3-D was leaps and bounds worse than Superman III. I know I was tremedously disappointed by it after a great second film in the Jaws franchise. It seems the 3's in movie franchises are always the most beleagured, unless of course there's a 4!!!

I honestly tried, and failed, to sit through Superman Returns. Just was too boring, too long, and I hated the idea of "Superstalker" and "Super Deadbeat Dad."
“As human beings we all want to be happy and free from misery… we have learned that the key to happiness is inner peace. The greatest obstacles to inner peace are disturbing emotions such as anger, attachment, fear and suspicion, while love and compassion and a sense of universal responsibility are the sources of peace and happiness.” - The Dalai Lama
