i got it today and watched the whole set. I thought it was great. I bought my set at New England Comics. I know I paid more but I didn't mind as i wanted it as soon as I seen it.

Yeah he's on the title menu and then on one of the episode menus....

Are you telling me that the geniuses at Warner Bros. got Hawkman from the Filmation episodes confused with Birdman, a Hanna-Barbera character? Was there any research done on this project. In all honesty I can't see how a mistake like this could slip by....nobody checked or noticed? Puh-lease! But that's probably how Aquaman slipped on the front cover when he's not even in these episodes.

I was also disappointed by the lack of features on this disc...considering there was room, they certainly didn't need 2 discs for the handful of episodes. And some type of opening intro would have been nice.

I guess Aquaman showed due to the fact he's in the JLA intro. A little history about these cartoons would have been nice. I'm still not to clear about these. Did they air with Superman or Aquaman?

i think at one point they showed with every aspect, but i think it was originally a Aquaman sandwich

I think they were part of the "Superman/Aquaman Adventure Hour". They show the closing credits to the Aquaman cartoon on the DVD (probably included to acknowledge the those who worked on the shorts). So I'm assuming it was Superman shown first, followed by one of these DC heroes and then Aquaman?

WB has recycled menu art before, most notably using the same art over and over on The Batman and Teen Titans sets, but this is a new low for including a character who was completely unrelated, and at the time of airing, a rival character to boot!

So who has this set cheapest? Target has it at $19.99 - anybody find it lower? The Birdman thing has cooled me to it a little I have to admit. I hated Biiiiiiiiiiiiirdman.
