Gotham is filled with awesome villains...it works. Plus young Bruce Wayne is a constant presence, unlike Kal-El...who is an infant when the planet explodes, lol.
What is Metropolis going to feature? A young Jor-El and young Zod...and??? WHO ELSE???
It’s a pass for me as well...
If they follow the Gotham gameplan, pretty much every Superman villain. I could see Prankster, Toyman, Parasite all showing up.

Superman really doesn't have the background story lines to keep anyone's attention for very long, not terrible, but it's sort of boring, with the exception of how Lex Luthor got to where he is. Superman becomes more interesting once he's a grown man and starts working at the daily planet and interacts with the other characters.
Batman has a much more interesting story line, he's not from another planet, he doesn't have super powers, he's human, why he became Batman, what he did during his teenage years, the many colorful arch criminals and how they became who they are, even Robin has an interesting story line, the flying Grayson's.
