Tarzan was great for me
He was a complete bad ***
It is centered around a love story ... But the action was incredible . Enjoyed the fight sequence when his "brother " showed up to aid him .... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

Really liked the movie overall. Would have loved it if more of the ERB fantasy elements had been included, but it was definitely a cool film.
It made me want a sequel. Or even a prequel.
As Opar was mentioned in the movie, they should go ahead and adapt the Jewels of Opar if they make another one.PUNY HUMANS!Comment

I finally got to see it and enjoyed it. Hoping this is successful enough to warrant a sequel that would explore Opar and similar elements in more depth now that they have the origin and all that out of the way. Thought the depiction of the civilized John Clayton returning to the wilderness of Tarzan was compelling and a great performance.
Great cast, though you expected a much more complex villain from Christopher Waltz given his Tarantino films. In a sequel I'd like to see Margot Robie have less of a damsel role (which her character even points out).
Just goes to show you that critics and audiences don't always see eye to eye on a summer popcorn film like this...
critics averaged out a 36% rating while audiences enjoyed it enough for a 70%.

Although it doesn't appear that the international box office has embraced it... although has it rolled out in major overseas markets?

Wow, I LOVED that movie! Better than I expected, and my son had zero expectations, he was just going to appease me, and HE loved it!
I was so glad to see it DIDN'T have to go through the origin in linear fashion, but gave us an established Tarzan.
I can't really think of an aspect of it I didn't like, so I really hope we get a whole series of these!

doesn't look like it has opened in China yet, at least I don't see China in the foreign box office totals. I still have to see it, everyone's positive reviews makes me want to see if even moreComment
