    Marvel Studios now has Namor!

According to Marvel's Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada reassured fans that the Atlantean King himself Namor is back at Marvel Studios.

If this is true, Marvel has to jump on it to get there movie out before DC Cinematic Aquaman.

What they REALLY need to do is pry the FF and all it's associated properties out of the hands of FOX and bring us an FF epic featuring Namor threatening to destroy the landlubbers (with the help of Giganto) before falling head-over-winged-ankles for Susan Storm. Set it in the sixties and, like in the comics, let the FF actually be the bridge between WWII MCU and modern day MCU. Heck, since they've got Namor back, why not an Invaders movie, as well...!

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I want the Invaders! You've got Cap, Bucky, original Human Torch (not sure what you'd call him, since Fox probably has a lock on that name) and Lord Falsworth aka Union Jack already.

I doubt we'll ever get a whole movie, but a modern Cap movie with lots of WWII flashbacks to a lost Invaders case would be awesome.

Man, it's a shame Benedict Cumberbatch is already Dr. Strange...he'd make a perfect Namor. He looks just like him. Of course, Chris Evans is both the Torch and Cap, so who knows...

Rights were always with Universal. Current quote....

Asked directly if Namor is once again part of the MCU, Quesada replied: "I can't speak for studios...As far as I know, yeah we do. It's not at Fox, it's not at Sony...Yeah." Asked if we'll see the character on the big screen any time soon, he said only: "I cannot confirm or deny, sir."
                      Sounds like Inhumans.

IF Marvel does have the rights for Namor, then the best place to introduce him would be in a future Black Panther movie IMHO. There have been some fantastic conflicts between those two in the past couple of decades that would make for epic cinema.

The Sovereign nations of Atlantis and Wakanda constantly on the brink of war. King of the Seas vs the King of the Dead.
