    New Spidey movie titled...Spider-Man: Homecoming

I love Spidey...and want the movie to make a trillion dollars...but holy crappola...what a lame title...

Wished they had gone with The Spectacular Spider-Man.

    Seriously...

Not only is it a bad title, but that artwork looks like they "cut and pasted" three different fonts together. Wow, that is bad!

That being said, I hope that it is awesome!

The story is center around the homecoming dance at his high school. I think he's going to dress emo and dance like he thinks he's totally cool. The dance-off at the end of the movie is going to be spectacular...

Yeah, but if Peter Quill shows up to the dance off, it's gonna be Peter vs. Peter and then we'll have to watch one Peter beat another...
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

The title isn't great, It could still change before release. Spectacular Spider-man would have been great, Hector.

It fits. Spidey is "home" at Marvel, and it apparently fits the story.

Spectacular Spider-Man was the name of a cartoon series a few years back. I know it's been long enough to do something else with it, but that may be one reason not to use it.

It could even get better! Read this!!!

Deadpool director Tim Miller and producer Simon Kinberg talked about a possible Spider-Man crossover and an X-Men and Avengers team-up.

Oh yeah, I know. And there was actually a 2-issue Marvel magazine called The Spectacular Spider-Man in the late 60s.

I think Amazing Spider-Man 2 was originally touted as being "Spectacular" as well.

It's the name they SHOULD use, but maybe they are a bit gun-shy to use adjectives, due to the Garfield films. Who knows.

I'd be up for this IF they keep this one PG-13. There should never be a Spider-Man movie kids can't go see. I have no problem with Deadpool's solo movies being "R", but he needs to be on his best behavior around Spidey.

I agree. I think if he shows up it would be just in a cameo and nothing more than comic relief in the best way.

Also agree. They could get very creative using bleeping and censoring Deadpool's dialogue for comedic effect.

Rumours are swirling around about Micheal Keaton as the Vulture for this one.

I was hoping for a "Fourth time is the charm" Goblin....

Perhaps there will be a big dance/musical number at Petey's homecoming dance.

Would be nice to get a comic accurate Goblin from the classic years.
