With the Rock as Black Adam, and Cena (gulp) as Captain Marvel, you want the Shazam movie to turn into a WWE all stars flick?

Cena is definitely heavier than Cavill (by 50 pounds), but they are both the same height, 6' 1". Cena does not look proportionate...he'd be like a short mini Hulk, lol.
I'd admit though, Cena was funny in Trainwreck, I'll give you that much.
I wish there was a 30 something Patrick Warburton, as he was born to play Captain Marvel...
Too bad he's now 51, what a shame...
Well, he did get to play a superhero before...
Warburton at an earlier age would have made a great Shazam or also made a great Punisher. I have no idea who would make a good Shazam right now.Comment

I did see it yesterday. No need to continue much more on what most have said. There were parts I did like but very few. Thought Affleck was good, better than I expected. Cavill had so much potential as Superman but he sucked but I don't blame him, it's the role that was written for him. Flash sucked, Aquaman sucked. I won't even go into Doomsday, wow soooooooo bad. Best part of the movie was WW! Yes, I grew up with LC as WW and was a huge first crush for me but Gadot makes this one her own. I will gladly see her movie if it comes to light. Sorry as I really wanted to try to like this movie but in the end I feel DC owns me a refund. I wouldn't give this a second try even on dvd, maybe just maybe if it makes it to cable. I blame it all on Snyder and DC's unwillingness to change in any way from their failures of the past. No reason to bad mouth it any more. Sorry Hec, I really wanted to like, even love this. No worries as I must be a glutton for punishment and will continue to see most all DC or Marvel superhero movies, lol.Comment

Well this is telling. Kevin Smith not only didn't like the movie, but thought Affleck had very little to work with. He described the script interpretation as "Bat-Trump. Talk about disliking immigrants." Interesting.

That cut scene is horrendous.
My gawd, did they deliberately dig out the most overused CG templates? That crap is from War o/t Worlds and a half-dozen other productions.
I'm not a protest guy, but I really thinking we may need one. They are going to completely fubar Fourth World.
And that wasMother Box working on Cyborg...why? Why would you do that?! Snyder is really turning out to be a moron.

Lex "communing" with Darkseid makes absolutely no sense to his basic motivation in this movie: not to trust an alien "god". Yet he Facebook friends one and says "come on over".
The more I think about this film, the more flawed it becomes.

When it comes to CG, that and Doomsday are bottom-barrel cheap and hackney.
The cats in VFX pipeline must have wanted to play Superman and jump from a tall building. No gig is worse than spending months of hours on embarrassing dreck. They spend hours on every frame, the same frames, day after day...and then have to watch it back, get approvals, fix whatever and move to the next scene. They all know when they're working on crap, but they can't say anything.Comment

As I said before, I like most of the movie, but the bad parts were bad...like you said, Doomsday was downright awful...like a poorman's Abomination (from Hulk movie)...it was truly pathetic to see such poor CGI in such an expensive production.
I blame all this entirely on Snyder.
I wouldn't mind one bit he were to be discarded by WB, and replaced by a more competent director.sigpicComment
