I think this is just further proof of the Disneyfication of the MARVEL universe. Granted, skin tight costumes would likely be impractical, but these are comic book characters we're talking about. Don't be too surprised to see a Disneyfication of Spider-Man either after CIVIL WAR or in 2017 when his solo movie is supposed to hit.

Don't care for it. Comic Cap doesn't work in reality because of the limitations that don't permit for an exact translation. That's why the movie version doesn't have wings on his head and has to wrap himself into a virtual straight jacket of straps to "justify" a mere suggestion of the comic inspired ideas. But in comics, artists have that eternal luxury to make him larger-than-life and fulfill that fantasy that the name denotes. So, to me, dragging an illustrated interpretation down to the film appearance really suffocates that freedom to let him breath as only comics can allow him to.Comment

I like FalCap's outfit better. I mean since when is there brown in the American flag? That's what you think of with Cap's old outfit.Comment

The new outfit, while movie friendly, definitely seems---I don't know-----stiffer and more cumbersome which would make it harder to Cap to be as agile as he is. I say, give him back his old outfit and his round shield and just get back to telling good stories with the character. And give him temple wings back, too!sigpic Oh then, what's this?
