Sorry for sucking the joy out. I'll take the label when it's accurate.

Knight - re: bracelets. I thought the same thing. The blast radius and the shield don't make sense in the trailer, so their has to be something they're not showing.

Emerald - The rebuild was paid for by Bruce and Lex, which what I think that gala was celebrating.

Doomsday fight is in Gotham. Gotham gets wrecked, IIRC from the Detroit shooting.

The "Batman coming out of retirement" thing is a holdover idea from when they pitched it to Bale. He passed when Nolan and Legendary left WB.

When Affleck came on board he rebooted it to where Batman is considered an urban legend by Gothamites. At one point, the only people who had seen him were criminals and the saved victims. The idea behind JLA is/was all the heroes, ( save Cyborg), exist but are working undercover. Superman's existence forces them to go public because he's an attack magnate for global threats.

Supposedly in Suicide Squad. Joker's value to Task Force X is he's had the most contact with Batman and Waller thinks Joker could deduce who he is. That's where some of the "Joker is Lector" talk comes from.

          Ohhh----my-----geez.

I've been apathetic towards EVERY DC trailer since SUPERMAN RETURNS.

The SUICIDE SQUAD movie looks to be very clever and very fun...and my faith in it's success has a lot to do with it's writer/director.

And, so far (until I saw the trailer just now) the BVS:DOJ has looked to be another "hope it's good but it just looks to be Man Of Lame with more heroes in it" in a film build-up that I SHOULD be anticipating every bit much as FORCE AWAKENS.

          Now?

I freakin' CAN'T WAIT for this to come out!

          Awesome trailer!

Clever, ironic, self-aware dialogue sells it for me EVERY time (heck, the dialogue---gasp---almost has me thinking Timm/Dini!).

(hope the final full film product is somewhere near as good as this trailer has made me feel---but who knows)

Good day to be a DCU fan.

Ezra Miller will reportedly make his first appearance as The Flash in the forthcoming film, which means that by the time the movie is over, at least five of the seven main members of the Justice League will have appeared onscreen, with only Green Lantern unaccounted for.

"He will have a thinner silhouette and will not be as strong as the other heroes of the Justice League," Wilkinson reportedly said.

Wilkinson is quoted as confirming that the desert sequence with the flying Parademon-like creatures and Superman tearing off the Dark Knight's mask is, in fact, a nightmare.

"Wilkinson revealed that, in Wayne's dream, the world turned into a post-apocalyptic desert in style of Mad Max, in which Superman has become a despot and has an army of followers, composed of soldiers and flying beings. They appear in the trailer," Omelete reports

So in this movie we get to see:
            Batman
            Superman
            Wonder Woman
            pre-Cyborg
            Flash
            Aquaman

            Lex Luthor
            Mercy Graves
            Zod
            Doomsday

and rumored more characters, this movie is getting a little crowed.

And Alfred, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, Perry White. There is some potential for a Joker pop in, too.

I think you will. With all that hair?

I think that's a sign NOT to count it out.

                    "Impish?" "Trickster voiced?" Shumacher-inspired?"

I'm not sure this Luthor is truly in that mold.

If you notice, the giddiness of Luthor's first line of dialogue essentially dials down a tad from that (admittedly) terser level as he spouts more verbage.

I don't know. But I think this much hammering Eisenberg's Luthor is jumping the gun.

I love the reaction and comments from these guys...and they watch the trailer twice...

I just realized...Affleck nails both the Bruce Wayne and Batman voices...I'm very impressed.
