Yeah, Marvel wins. I was pulling for DC to catch up but that's not gonna happen. The biggest difference between this release schedule and WB's is the DC movies will likely never get made and the Marvel stuff is concrete. They already have the foundation poured and are ready to start with the framework. WB is still looking for a plot of land. B vs. S could make 2 billion and they would still be ten car lengths behind. Game over, contest ended by the mercy rule.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

Thank god no more stand alone Iron Man flicks...Iron Man 3 sucked.
Hulk should get the right treatment, perhaps they are taking their time, and really wanna nail it next time around.
Kinda surprised no Black Widow...as A-lister Scarlett Johansson...has said that she would definitely be interested in a stand alone film.sigpicComment

Iron Man with RDJ is contractually over. That was the fight over IM4 and Cap 3. RDJ wanted Civil War to be split between Cap 3 and IM4, but Marvel balked. He wasn't even going to be in Cap3, but Fiege hammered it out.
I think what this shows is Marvel actually is worried about DC and saturation. Civil War was not on the plate, and neither was three films per year. Now they are. It shows they're trying to move faster before something disrupts the market.
After Guardians and Winter Soldier I stopped second guessing their decisions. Those two were mediocre at best to me and did insane business.Comment

Wrong universe if you want the "real" Captain Marvel. Sorry to be a smart ***, but as A DC guy I'm feeling a little defensive, lol.
It's a great slate of films and I'm looking forward to all of them. I too hope Mar-Vell is somehow used.
At first glance, the Inhumans movie is the least attractive to me, especially without a FF tie-in, but considering what Marvel did with Guardians of the Galaxy, it might be the film to look forward to the most.Last edited by madmarva; Oct 29, '14, 10:47 AM.Comment

Irony is a funny creature. They cast one of the most distinctive voices in Hollywood and make him a mute. He does have the presense required for the role, so I think it's cool but strange. BTW is that casting confirmed or are they waiting to make it official? I'm kinda looking forward to a CGI Lockjaw the superhuman martial art skills of Karnak.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
