Tbolt, I like your idea of a 1940s Batman.

and if I were making a JLA film, I probably would adapt cooke's New Frontier in some form or fashion.

My dream DC movie is one that resembles the comicbooks I read as a child instead of the dark and new style today. I want bright colors darn it! LOL

I'd love to see G'nort in a movie.

Before you scoff... I also used to wish Rocket Raccoon would show up in a Marvel movie.

That would be excellent. It'll never happen, but my first choice would be Arak, Son of Thunder.

A properly done, period-set JSA film would be epic.

I'd like to see athe JSA origin from DC Special 29 adapted by WB Home Video. But a live action JSA would be great. I enjoyed the JSA on Smallville.

I'd love to see a Sandman movie based on the first 8 issues of Vertigo series.

You have the sequence of events of the capture of Morpheus (a magician that mistakenly gets Dream instead of capturing Death) wherein Dream sits and waits throughout a montage of the years passing (throw in a few DC Comics moments, like flashes of Superman and Batman, etc), his escape and punishment of the son of his jailer... all take place during the credits.

Then the bulk of the movie is the quest to obtain his totems of power after finding the dreaming has fallen to disrepair.

He meets up with the Martian Manhunter, runs into Dr Destiny (Arkham cameo), deals with Etrigan the Demon... all just skirting the edges of the DC universe as easter eggs for the faithful.

The finale of course is the confrontation with Dr Destiny in the diner, where it looks like Dee's going to win.

The epilogue of course is, meeting Death after hearing about Death all throughout the movie, and finding out it's Dream's little sister.
