He honestly wouldn't be a bad Nightwing. Put him through some training, and he'd be fine.

He could be Dr Sivana with some old age make-up or Sivana's kid, or maybe Bookworm if Warner wanted to adapt the character from the 66 show. He's like 5-4 and he's not built like Stalone or Cruise. Dick Grayson's not tall as an adult, but he is average height.
With Affleck being a full foot taller, it would be trouble to have them in a medium shot together.

Umm, Radcliffe notwithstanding, who wants to look like Stallone ('roided out) or Cruise (50 and trying so hard to look 30, he's starting to resemble papier-mache).

See, here is where everyone's personal perception varies. I thought Cavill was excellent as Superman. By far the best since Reeve, and actually he was better proportioned physically than Reeve, who always looked gangly to me even after he put on some muscle. Superman has always been drawn thick, at least until until the New52. Now, Reeve's performance made up for anything he lacked in the role.
As far as Radcliffe, I just can't see a 5-4, adult super hero unless it was Al Pratt the original Atom or Wolverine, and the way Wolverine is drawn, he would be roided out like Stallone.
I will say this, Radcliffe is a good actor and would likely give a good performance, depending on the script. I just don't see his stature as super hero-like. Yeah, he's the right size for a 14-year-old Robin, but he's probably a decade past the part.
My mention of Cruise and Stallone had to do with their stature. Both are 5-9, which is small for someone who is going to attempt to impose their will on others in a physical nature, and Radcliffe's not even that tall.
And, yeah, I know Hollywood has had late 20 and even 30-year-olds playing teens for years.

I don't think there was a lawsuit. Warner made more money off the Harry Potter films than they'll ever make off Timothy Hunter.
Who knows, it might have helped Warner secure the movie rights?

^Yeah, like I wrote Gaiman was being really gracious, but if the quotes and story were accurate, it came across that he really respected her work. The books are very well written, and she created a world that could be nearly as fertile as Star Wars if she chose to allow others to play with her creations. Gaiman and Warners probably figured it wasn't worth the fight. I'm not sure if Gaiman has any ownership rights to the character. Likely not. He hadn't become noted novelist Neil Gaiman at the point of Hunter's creation so it may be DC's character outright.
A Tim Hunter/Shazam team-up could be fun if the right creators were involved.Comment
