Looks like Affleck has now hurt his shoulder. I have a feeling this may be a short stint for Affleck as the Cape Crusader if these injuries persist. There is a purpose for stuntmen.

DC Entertainment’s co-publisher Jim Lee made a confident statement this week about the Snyder-directed film in the latest issue of Variety:

"Zack is a comic book fan and draws inspiration from the comics. He doesn’t need to be given advice. He’s a talented filmmaker. He’s a super stylized visualist. He’ll do stuff no one has ever done with the caped crusader and blow everyone away. He knows how to take the sensibility of comic books and do what other filmmakers don’t know how to do.”

Sounds like the same quote they gave Schumacher during the filming of B&R. I'm always weary when studios hand full creative control to someone who has never delivered a full on blockbuster in this genre. It doesn't mean it can't happen, because Nolan sure went supernova at the box office after Batman Begins. We'll see.
