Guillermo Grispo has aided Conan, Wolverine and Kick-*** in their onscreen fisticuffs, but he’s told Los Andes Diario (via Batman News) that he will help the Caped Crusader bring the ruckus like never before in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
“Warner Bros., they are very strict, so I can’t say much, but it’s no surprise if I say Batman and Superman come face-to-face in the movie. It’s one of the most important sequences and I was actively involved in the design of the fight: the exchange of punches and the physical movement were put together with my partner Ryan Watson.
“There’s a thought that Batman has no chance, that [Superman] will squash him like a bug. But when you see the movie, and how it all comes out, there’s a very intelligent explanation as to why they would have a firsthand confrontation though it seems to be totally to Batman’s disadvantage.”

Batman has gotten as technically savvy as Iron Man in building these cars. I hope Alfred is not the ghost engineer for this vehicle. For me it's okay, but entirely too derivative of the Nolan Tumbler. I like new movies on Batman to offer a car that carries it's own distinctive style. I think they played it too safe here. Looks like a decision made by the suits and possibly a toy company. Toyetic is a term that comes to mind.Leave a comment:

That just doesn't read Batman to me. I didn't care for it in Miller's mini series or Nolan's films.
You know, when I go to a super hero movie, I'm not all that worried about realism and plausibility.Leave a comment:

It's more Tumber-like than I thought it might be from the initial picture. Or more accurately, it looks like a sleeker version of the Miller DKR Batmobile, which of course the Tumbler borrowed a bit from.
I'd have preferred going back to a more classic design, but Miller is the go-to-guy in Gotham for this film, obviously.

man, I can't stand the airbrushed fake muscles. Reminds me of Ravishing Rick Rude's bodysuit.Leave a comment:

^It's from the muscle mass he put on. Too fast, too much at 45. I've got a lifetime in health/fitness industry for a myriad of reasons, and you cannot yo-yo with your mass after 40 if you haven't been conditioning like that for the previous twenty years. The natural chemicals to tap into are just not there. So on one hand, it could lead to a DeNiro/Bale like performance where the physical change transforms him into the character. Or he's going to blow a rotator cuff, or more likely, tear his knee.Leave a comment:
