I have tried to write this show off. The Asgardian episode and Extremist miovie tie ins were nice. It has done well in the last couple episodes with addressing Colson's death. I continue to feel compelled to watch.

I'm not sure about it being the midseason finale. I know it's on break until after the holidays.

Anybody watch the latest episode? I enjoyed it. Was it the midseason finale?

I liked bringing Mike back (the centipede test subject from the first episode who has the little boy). You know when he said "tell my son I love him" bad things were going to happen. I think his super strength saved him.

Next episode promises answers about the "magical place."

THe last two episodes have been far better than the previous. It appears they are starting to get a foothold in their subplots and characterizations. It's amazing what a little depth can do. I'm at least going to stick around to find out what Tahiti is.

Nice reference at the end to Whedon's Dollhouse:
    Coulson: "Did I fall asleep?"
Girl : "For a little while..."

Figures. I didn't even bother to watch this week cause the last few have been blah.

You mean Jonathan Franks? I've always enjoyed his directing. I didn't notice it in the credits and I usually catch things like that.

Jed Whedon, the co-creator of the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., stated that there are plans to reference events from Captain America: The Winter Soldier into the show. "Nick Fury is in [Captain America: The Winter Soldier], and S.H.I.E.L.D. makes an appearance, so we will definitely try to tee-up some stuff and probably play a little bit of the fallout from that film," said Whedon.

Tonight's episode with the Asgardian artifacts was entertaining. I like how they are teasing out the main character's backstories. They're giving me just enough to keep me interested. The "Tihiti's a magical place" story tread is continuing to develop nicely.

Coleson to the Asgardian, "I know Thor" and later, "I'll introduce you." were great lines.
