^ That's the thing, all casting is opportunistic.
Cranston seems too old for the role to me, but he is a fine actor. But I can't think of anyone who would definitely be better without seeing what the role will be like in the script.
I do hope those working on the script stay as far away from Hackman's version of the character as possible.Last edited by madmarva; Aug 26, '13, 7:44 PM.Comment

Cranston friggin' rules!!!!!!!!!
The dude is terrific, if you haven't seen Breaking Bad, do yourself a favor and watch it, the guy is mesmerizing
The age doesn't bother me one bit, he's gonna bring baddarse to the table.
I'm sorry, Superman, but if they cast Cranston as Luthor, I'm rooting for the bad guy in this one, lol.Last edited by Hector; Aug 26, '13, 8:32 PM.sigpicComment

Cranston played Commissioner Gordon a few years ago in Batman Year One but I guess it's not exactly mainstream since it was an animated film and direct to DVD. Still did a heck of a job with the voice work."Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you."Comment

Okay, this has been debunked as a rumor for now. I was wondering why none of the legit Superman/Batman sites were reporting it:

I would Keep Kevin Spacey over this Guy ....
I dunno if I like his All powerful Villain Role ..., see the New Total Recall Movie for some Insight. ... It's just not that great.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
always trading for Hot Toys Figures .Comment
