Adam West, for me, I never saw any of the Batman movies, but how can you improve any from the original?

Adam West is to Batman what Sean Connery is to James Bond. Others have come before, many will come after but in the end, there is only one man that embodies the essence and spirit of the character.
Conroy is a distant second for me although to be fair, his voice work on the animated series was outstanding and it's hard to compare West and Conroy since they both approached the character on such a different platform. Ever see the Animated Series episode with the Gray Ghost? The character is based on a Super Hero that lost it's relevancy and is voiced by none other than Adam West. Adam West. More because of the new adventures of batman than anything eles although he did do some superfriends to. I didnt see the show till the mid-80s. Thats who I think of when I read a Batman comic.Comment

That's not Wagonner...that's Adam West! They both did screen tests in that costume, but Adam tested with Burt, and Lyle tested with another kid.
