    Electric Company Spider-Man
    Superfriends Cartoons
    Batman 66

    And

Power Records - these offered incredible replay value before the home video era. To this day, reading certain comics, I hear the voices of the Power Record actors.

I think it's a fair assessment when I say I owe the majority of my childhood interests to the '67 Spider-man cartoon. That cartoon got me interested in heroes, comics, and illustrating which, in turn, got me interested in package artwork from GI JOE and WGSH Megos. This ALSO led to my fascination with action figures. But it was all rooted in watching that classic cartoon (first run and in syndication). I loved the unique animation style and those colorful backdrops. It was (and still remains) a one-of-a-kind cartoon that captures both the original spirit of the comics and the open expression of the 60's which gave it a rich treatment you can't get today. Wonderful event music and amazingly talented vocal work make it a life long entertainment value for this fan. And the funny part? I was so use to seeing Spiderman without the webs on his chest, it took me some getting use to seeing him with webbing all over in the comics.

Yeah, and I always got a kick how women found him irresistible, despite the fact they had no clue what he looked like under the mask, lol.

One question, Hector. Is the Blue Demon his sidekick like Robin?

Blue Demon was his friendly "face" rival in the wrestling ring and in the movies.

In the ring, they would sometimes team up as tag teams, but it was not often because both were top billed stars, so they preferred to wrestle alone.

You should rent Santo vs Blue Demon were they are adversaries.

Blue Demon was almost as popular as Santo...and then of course...the third one is Mil Mascaras, who came later.

Almost all of my exposure to superheroes was through TV. My earliest memories are of the Super Friends and the '66 Batman episodes soon followed by Linda Carter's Wonder Woman and Lou Ferrigno's Hulk.
              Looking for:
              Lincoln Phantom of the Opera

I'm fairly certain my first exposure and lasting impressions were from Super Friends and the Shazam saturday morning shows. I think my first comic book was Fantastic Four 181 with the Salem's Seven.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I've always heard he was a pretty ugly dude under the mask, but with that blazer/turtleneck combo, most women could overlook looks for all the class he was radiating.

Also, anyone interested in Santo or Blue Demon should check out Santo contra Blue Demon en la Atlántida. My Spanish is nonexistent and it was still a really entertaining film. Those guys were pretty cool. In fact, I've seen James Bond movies that weren't as good as Operación 67.
