POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT
An unconfirmed report concerning Cap's costume in TWS, and what costume he ends up wearing by the end of the movie...
"This is Cap's S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform (obviously) but for circumstances unknown (either it getting destroyed or Cap hating it), at some point in the film, Steve breaks into the Smithsonian and steals back his 40's uniform. So for all of us that loved the Johnston suit, Captain America will be back in it by the end of the movie. Sort of takes the sting away from this lameness."PUNY HUMANS!Comment

Let's hope the Falcon is not wasted on yet another military-style uniform who never gets his own look. I'm growing tired of Marvel's throw away designs for their "guest star" heroes. They all look like generic hit men from a GI Joe film. There is a certain pageantry in wearing an outfit that symbolizes who you are as a hero. Marvel is getting too mechanical in the design department and losing any flare on the esthetics. At some point I would like some of these characters to actually LOOK like they came from the comics that inspired them.Comment

Yeah, it doesn't look at all like how I would expect Falcon's outfit to look like. There's not even a hint of red anywhere, or anything to justify his codename as 'Falcon'.

"It’s going to be much grittier than any Marvel movie to date," said filmmaker Joe Russo, who is brothers with co-director Anthony Russo, in an interview with ScreenDaily. The site was present for Disney’s CineEurope presentation earlier this week where they actually showed off never-before-seen footage from both the Captain America sequel and Alan Taylor's Thor: The Dark World, which will be out in November of this year. But listening to Russo it sounds like Chris Evans' next adventure as the star-spangled former Popsicle is the one to really be excited for, if you've been waiting for Marvel to match DC's Man of Steel and The Dark Knight for toughness.sigpic
