I feel a little sad for these kids who will never get to experience Aquaman underoos or have the sense of wonder we did when Super Friends came on Saturday mornings. I suppose they will live instead through their facebook pages and twitter accounts.

I'm pretty positive today's kids aren't missing anything when it comes to superhero wonderment. The media's different, but the thrill would have to be the same, I'd think. I'll go even farther, and say that if WE had certain 2013 superhero stuff in 1975, we would've been over the Moon with excitement.

This I agree with. First screening of The Avengers I went to was packed very excited kids.

Theres some pretty good superhero related stuff out this day and age but I really dig all that stuff from years gone by.
