At least Sony was forced to sell their rights to the merchandise (due to their dire financial situation) so now Disney/Marvel have that back. I smell the movie rights going that way too if the rebooted franchise makes anymore stumbles.

I don't think it speaks Romita but would agree with the sites opinion of a Bagley interpretation.
(the eyes anyway, Romita's black outlines were "heavier" and not so thin.) Never have liked any of the
Spider chest insignias used in any movies, I still wish they would use something similar to the ASM only a bit more
Faithful to the comics in its appearance. As an earlier poster stated it seemed more "homemade". Overall this is just the Raimi costume albeit with more "traditional" (sort of) eyes. Of course from what we can see anyway...Comment

I'm confident that with make up, she'll make a decent MJ.
Was never too impressed with Dunst in the role, TBH. Sure, Dunst is a cute looking girl, but MJ is supposed to be an absolute dazzler.
As for Gwen, Emma Stone was great in ASM. Looking forward to more of her.
(Actually, Bryce Dallas Howard looked good as Gwen in Raimi's third film, but that movie just totally threw away the character.)PUNY HUMANS!Comment
