    Hmmmm....

Y'know, the show is okay.... but there's something missing when compared to the last Avengers cartoon. It feels kinda off and I can't put my finger on why. Nothing BIG, but something....

Yes, it seams to be taking Assemble a few episodes to find it's footing. "Doomstroyer" is the first episode that I was like, "Aw Yeah!"

Also, it's the first with more 'Kirby' style character designs as featured on the Trolls. Something to think about.

They did a lot better job with "Hulked Out Heroes" than I expected. The interplay between Hulk and 'Widow was pretty good and the Hulk-vengers weren't as doofy as I thought they would be. I was entertained.

I also enjoyed the Ultimate Spider-man with Captain America and Wolverine (some fav characters). Arcade's always been a wonderful loser of a villain. Lots of fun.

Both of these episodes had lots of classic super hero tropes that were handed well.

I've missed out on the last few episodes but I've caught up thanks to On-Demand, and I have to say that I think AA is finally starting to reach EMH levels. From episode 9 onwards, I didn't have a complaint with any episode.

This episode is so good. So far it's the best one Assemble has done and it rivals any Season 2 episode of EMH. Seriously, it's fantastic.

I've watched them all over the last few days and I really liked them even though I'm a DC kinda guy. My little girl liked them too, I think they keep it light hearted enough that kids really dig it.

New episodes return on the 23rd!

                      "All-Father's Day"
Odin comes to the Avengers Tower demanding his son cease his "fun" on Earth and return to Asgard. Thor promises that if he can't prove the good he does on Earth he'll return home forever. Of course this proves to be a problem when Mangog arrives on Earth.

                      "By the Numbers"
The Avengers and the Cabal have a huge confrontation that leaves the team forever changed. Tony also learns that "the stats" can't be trusted every time - there's no substitute for human intuition.

                      "Guardians and Space Knights"
When Galactus attacks Earth, Iron Man is able to lead him to another planet only to discover that it is populated and under the protection of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

                      "One Little Thing"
When Iron Man and Ant-Man work to stabilize the Pym Particles, Falcon gives them the news that his mother is visiting, But she doesn't know that he's a member of the Avengers.
