    Marvel's Avengers Assemble

    Premise:
Falcon (the newest member of The Avengers) is the main eyes and ears of the viewer as he adventures with his teammates (consisting of Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Thor).

Cast (most of the cast reprises their roles from the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon, while Fred Tatasciore reprises his role as Hulk The Avengers: Earth's Might Heroes):
Laura Bailey - Black Widow (Natalia Romanova)
    Troy Baker - Hawkeye
    Adrian Pasdar - Iron Man
    Bumper Robinson - The Falcon
Roger Craig Smith - Captain America
    Fred Tatasciore - The Hulk
    Travis Willingham - Thor

    Development:
Jeph Loeb, Head of Marvel Television and a producer on the series, stated that the series is intended to closely echo the tone and feel of the 2012 The Avengers film. The series will feature a combination of 2D and CGI animation. Jeph Loeb said of the relationship between this and EMA:

"We're not in any way saying Earth's Mightiest Heroes never happened. You will see an epic conclusion. And then you'll say, 'Oh, what's next?'"

It is slated to air sometime in 2013.

    Hmmmm....

Looks okay, but I'm still kinda sad. I really liked "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" and didn't really like the movie.

Hey! The Hulk looks like Kenshiro:

Yeah, I agree with you about the artwork. I wished they had just gone with their Ultimate Spider-Man looks.

Yeah, "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" really had an Avengers comic feel to it. The popularity of the movie forces a good cartoon to morph into the movie lite. I may end up liking it, but there was nothing wrong with the show and a whole lot right.

Since all of the main heroes are looking like their theatrical versions, I wonder if the Falcon will prove to be the same?

The cast of “Marvel’s Avengers Assemble,” coming to Marvel Universe on Disney XD in 2013, got together for a voice record session yesterday…and since it was Halloween, some of them decided to really get into character!

Laura Bailey (Black Widow), Roger Craig Smith (Captain America) and Travis Willingham (Thor) each showed up to the session dressed as their character, and the fine folks at Marvel TV have passed along this group shot of the three actors at yesterday’s record!

Based too much on the movie incarnations.
But I will still check it out.

Was watching the old 1999 Avengers cartoon series the other day.

Because his movies make more money.

If you read the first nearly two hundred issues of the Avengers it is Ironman who is the leader (chair person). Eventually Captain America steps in as the chair person when Ironman is out. Later on Ironman likes what he sees and the job is basically is slowly given to Captain America. I am assuming that this cartoon is going that route.

That's what I was thinking too. Plus, in EMH, he formed the team and led them too, before making Cap the leader in Code Red.

It'd make sense to even the biggest newbie that Cap wasn't the leader right off. He's not even from the same era he's living in (today).
