The link below takes you to some video of Jim Lee pimping Free Comic Book Day, but he also talks up Manof Steel.

Then you must not be paying attention that closely. Every Marvel film have had a theme for their heroes (and sometimes even for the villains).

^^^ They were all bland and forgettable, none of the marvel music stands out as something iconic. The only thing I remember is the use of ACDC in the Iron Man movie. The only thing that sticks in my head from the current super-cycle is from Nolan's Bat-Movies and the first Hellboy.

I got to tell ya,,,I have seen a lot of pics now. I hate the suit and the actor playing superman. Im sick of the dark colors and weird texture. He doesnt have the hair curl.
The curl is trademark. Capes too long. Why the werid lines on the suir. Would be better without them. I am a giant Sups fan But Im so sick and tierd of them hacking it.
I dont want to watch gladiator superman. We should just make him into a ironman robot with 3 heads and bat aromor all in black with silver sneakers for camericals. Hell thorw in jar jar binks and it will be great.

I long ago stopped pre-judging all these superhero movies until I actually saw the movie.

It's like walking into the house and judging my wife's cooking before I eat it.

To be fair, you've sampled her cooking many times before so you have a reasonable expectation on what to expect. Same with WB. Till they show themselves capable of a successful superhero film, they will remain within doubts eyesight.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

                            ^^ A successful non-Batman superhero film.

^^^Nolan's version is far from a superhero trilogy. While his character is called Batman, he's also supposed to be the world's greatest detective. What the hell did he ever detect? He got duped by Rhas in the first movie, totally played in DK and unknowingly slept with his main enemy in Rises making himself vulnerable yet again. These movies are more like mixing Jason Bourne with Iron Man. He's nothing, absolutely nothing without his armor and gadgets and vehicles, and that's a far cry from the heart of the character. I did like all three films, so I'm not bashing, I'm just not prepared to call it a comic book movie and certainly not a superhero movie. It was more sci-fi than anything.
