    This is very similar to the LOTR protests of 2002 after an Orc rights group was offended how Peter Jackson portrayed them as mindless brutes. I think even the Ents were a little put off by how slowly they walked in the film. Seems you can offend someone with any film.
    Don't forget the uproar back in '77 with that bunch of Jawas.
