Exactly. We're getting, what will no doubt be, the best comic-book movies this summer. So let’s quit fighting and rejoice my fellow geeks, rejoice!!!!

Actually, it would NOT surprise me in the least to see Warner Bros. do something similar with the two previous Nolan BATMAN films prior to THE DARK KNIGHT RISES opening simply due to the fact that there is a character (albeit a younger version) in TDKR from BATMAN BEGINS and it's been four years SINCE TDK, so WB/DC might want to freshen up people's memories about what happened in TDK since, from what I've read, it plays a somewhat significant role in the new movie.

Not to mention, it's a good way to get a little more milk from those two teats....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I would love that, and definantly go. I have no real preference between Marvel or DC, but with The Avengers release, TDKR better be jaw-droppingly awesome.

I sat in a nearly empty theatre today but as I vacated, there were easily 200 people waiting to get in. Gotta love the noon showing!
Me and the boy took in the 4:15 showing. The upper part of the theater was pretty full. When we walked out, the line for the 7 PM showing was winding clear out of sight. And this is at a theater showing it on about a gazillion screens!
