Completely random thought here, but if I were in charge of Shield, I would have launched one of those nukes through the portal as soon as it opened. I'd trust that a little more than an explosive-tipped arrow.
I still think Coulson will appear again as Vision in a Robocop kinda way. I think they set that up pretty well to do that. I'm sure Whedon knows what he's doing, but that would be my suggestion.
I didn't even think of that, that would make more sense (all though they wanted to destroy Manhattan, not the portal), though we wouldn't have gotten any of the cool action sequences.

I like they way they have Hulk walking on his knuckles and hunched over more ape/beast like.
After hearing Banners line about "I'm always angry" and seeing the movie again you get the the completely different sense he was capable of Hulking out at any second. Not needing to get excited but keeping Hulk in check at all times. Stark pretty much says that at one point in the lab. "you're walking a thin line".
There are still some times where the Hulk doesn't feel/look heavy enough. The CGI is just a bit off. Still, he's never looked better.
The Avengers/Two in One Annuals are two of my favorites. Glad to see him using them as a model.
