I gotta go against the tide here and say that I dig it and prefer it to her super-dominatrix outfit. Marvel could really use a flagship female character. Captain Marvel? Sounds good to me. The other dude, well, he's always been Shazam to me.
Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

I'd like to see her with the helmet on, too. Ditch the sash and add a belt with a holstered Kree sidearm and it wouldn't look half bad.You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

I don't know about any of you but I have always thought that the Miss Marvel outfit was one of the sexist outfits ever created for a super gal. It just screams hot and it was probably one of our first customs we created as kids using an extra super girl and black electricians tape and various fabrics and a cool mask painted on with a magic marker. The custom I have now is way better but that classic one my uncle and I did in the 80s was memorable and not bad.More custom Mego madness on Facebook right here...

Did you guys ever think we'd live in a world where you can find BOTH Ms Marvel costumes on the toy racks of Wal Mart? I have no doubt that we'll see the new one made into a figure too, but at least we have ridiculous amounts of choice!

So i'm guessing her first apperance as the new Capt Marvel will be Secert Avengers 24 [may be wrong about the issue number but it's the issue listed in this month's previews]
I see Disney's fingerprints all over this mess from the no skin showing outfit to the butch haircut
And her new super power the ability to sing stupid hip hop songs geared at preteens
Yes i'm beting Disney has one of there teen princess's getting ready to start her new tv show on Disney channel geared to preteens the new Capt Marvel showComment

Dude! As consumers, we have the deepest selection of characters (and variations of characters) available in the history of toys, in multiple formats. With incredible sculpts and ridiculous articulation. All available to us 24/7 via the retail paradise of the internet.
What are you possibly lacking as a consumer? Even if it doesn't exist, the networking available via online custom culture out there ensures that you CAN have any dream figure you want made to your specifications.
When else in the history of toy collecting has it been so easy to find what you want, when you want?
Would your childhood self have believed that you could not only get a "comic action superhero" figure of not just one, but both Ms Marvel costumes? Let alone Dazzler, Ant-Man, Man-Thing, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, the X-Men, Daredevil, Dr Strange, and pretty much most of the Marvel Comics library of characters? That would have been some pretty cool stuff to have had back in the day.Last edited by samurainoir; Mar 22, '12, 2:12 AM.Comment
