Ooh, those are good ones. The Crazy Quilt story inspired the B&B episode as well.

I'm a huge fan of "Robin Meets Man-Bat". I've never had the record/book version though, just my much loved, scratched and over-played LP with no book. Sigh.

I had this issue as a kid and read it until it started to fall to pieces.

The reprint form Detective 374 is really a great detective story!

Those DC 100-Page Giants from the 70s are some of my favorite comics ever produced. A great introduction to the golden-age as well as getting some cool silver-age reprints.

Agreed. Those old square bound books are one of the few things I still actively collect. Love, love, love em!
                Hey! Check out the pictures.

There is a great short story by William F. Nolan called DADDY'S GIRL.

                  (Spoiler Alert)

Robin falls in love with the Joker's daughter and breaks her out of her "prison" (The Joker's house). The Joker, however, had changed the chemistry of her body so that she dies when she goes outside. Robin has to say goodbye to her as she is dying, etc. It's a great one.

Yes! I loved that story. Lots of great ones from those Batman anthologies of the late 80s early 90s. I always wanted to see that one, and "Subway Jack" by Joe R. Lansdale adapted into a comic story.
