The Avengers vs Dark Knight Rises vs Spider-Man

I don't think it's just about how a movie is going to do, but also how you think your going to like it. So much of that perspective is what guides people to feel what will be popular anyway. So for instance, last year was a complete surprise for me. I never thought Apes or X-Men would be films I would even like, let alone be successful. As it turns out, they were my two favorites of the year. I was very surprised by that.

I love Conan ..., and didn't see that till DVD.

Batman will be the best movie (IMO), but Avengers will take in more money.

The money matters to me, because the money made or lost will be data behind which movies do or do not get made next. For example, if Avengers makes boat-loads of money, there is a better chance we could see a Justice League movie.
