Ian Somehander...hell no...he looks like Rob Lowe (lol)...is a model and TV actor...and is a measly 5' 9"...we already had a little dude for Batman...his name was Michael Keaton...

Damn Hector...you're killing me with the Keaton comparison....I HATE Keaton! Didn't realize Ian was that short...he doesn't look it. I still think he could play Bruce Wayne. He plays the dark conflicked character well.
but Fassbender was a BAD ARSE as Magnito...so he'd be a great fit as well.

As much as I LOVE Jon Hamm in Mad Men...I just can't see him as Bruce Wayne. But if he could do an English accent...I can TOTALLY see him as James Bond.

I will be sorry to see Bale go as Batman, but not as heartbroken as some of you folks. I've liked his take on Batman/Bruce Wayne, but not LOVED it. I think he's been much better in some of his other roles like American Psycho, 3:10 to Yuma, The Prestige and especially The Machinist (which, if you haven't seen, go get it. Now.).

Who could fill Bale's Batboots? Well, I'd be up for a young unknown to play the part, especially if, since they're gonna do a reboot, why not go for a really serious reboot and just tackle BATMAN: YEAR ONE in live action. You just have to make sure you find an actor with the proper chops to pull off the part.

If you're gonna reboot the Bat and keep him at his current age (that is, an older, more seasoned Dark Knight), then right now, here's who I'd like to see take on the role....

I'm looking foward to the last movie and the completion of the triolgy.
They have been superior Batman movies but I feel so much has been missed with 3 movies over 10 years. So many adventures off screen/between movies that won't be seen.

What I'm getting at is we need more Batman than once every three years.

We need a Batman TV series. A nice thought out 5 year run with Bat-villains galore.
A new Batmoblie every season and all the bat gadgets we can handle.

Smallville lasted 10 years with out 'Superman'.

Can you imagine what a full on real Batman show could be like? All the villains, all the great comic stories that could be adpated, all the 'Hero' guest stars. A little live action Brave and the Bold action

Season one= Year one. Captian Gordon, corrupt police force, crime bosses, first look at some bat villains, etc.

Season two= Robin. Nothing like Batman and Robin thumping heads and takin' names.

Batgirl, Robin becoming Nightwing. Joker, Catwoman. I would love to see the Ventriloquist in live action. They could do so much with that universe with a TV series.

The idea of a new movie series makes me kind of sad. It's hard to see them being any better. But a new TV show has a lot of potential.
