Generation Lost was So Damn Good ..., Best thing for Me with any of that Brightest Day Nonsense, Besides the Aquaman Script.

The JLI New 52 Book is Horrible in Compairison to say the least.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

Generation Lost was good. The best Justice League series probably since Mark Waid took over JLA for Morrison however many years ago.

The new book and for that matter so many of DC new titles are on such a slow boil that its hard to get interested in them.

And while feet-of-clay characters can be interesting, it's just not working with Booster, and when in the world has Batman ever been a character in a team-up setting where he didn't exude confidence and have all the answers and 90 percent of the time they are right? Well, this new JLI book is the only one I can think of.

Batman's been that way at least since the early 70s, when the JLA were given individual personalities. If he's not THAT guy, that's just wrong.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Just reading most of the Green Lantern spinoff books is feeling like a spectacle with very little story let alone character.

It will be interesting to see how long DC can maintain their mid-list titles on the new 52 momentum.

Over at Marvel, they have taken a beating with DC's big marketing push, and interestingly enough, they are adapting a previously sound strategy of canceling many low tier and mid list titles in favour of churning out more issues of their best selling titles... Some going onto a biweekly schedule while others are adding on all these ridiculous "point one", "point two" etc issues.

It's been observed that no other Editor in Chief has had as well timed an exit as Joe Q did in taking the golden parachute over to the hugely successful movie side of things.

Anyone read Wonder Woman #3 yet? It's actually shaping up to be my favourite title in the new relaunches... It seems they really are clearing the decks and the revelation of Wonder Woman's father is less a huge retcon, and more of the kind of thing Alan Moore pulled on Swamp Thing or Marvelman. Azzerello using the clay origin as a real emotional punch for the Amazon's relationship with their Princess, when they cannot figure where her loyalties lie. It really does feel like the structure and trappings of Greek tragedy all around. It's also kind of neat to have the Blond Hippolyta back. I love me the Perez designs of the classic Greek gods, but the creepiness of the newly reinvented Hermes for example really is quite a fresh take and underlines the fact that there are horror elements being infused into the title quite successfully.

I'm not sure how long Azzerello is sticking around, but I'm sure this would be an ideal ground to let Morrison take his run at Wonder Woman with a pretty clear slate.

Yup....I'm dropping more and more titles....I've given most 2 or 3 issues to grab me. When it's all said and done I think I'll be down to Wonder Woman, Batman, Green Lantern, Aquaman and maybe a few others. Nowhere near what I was buying pre-The New 52...

I really like the 4 GL Books so far ..., even though they do seem alittle Slow.
Johns& Lee on JLA ..., Is a Dream come true for me, but I hate the Extreme Slowness of the Book, re-hashed chacter Developments, and This New How they Met Story.
Capullo on Batman is Unbelievable ..., But it's also too Slow...
The Hulked Out Rouges in Finch's Batman Title is weird.
Batgirl & RedHood are Great to Me ....
                  Aquaman is Great ....
& Firestorm is Just an Abortion.

I thought Firestorm had a good pedigree with Simone and VanSciver but the new origin/direction blows...

I am really interested to see where they go with Justice League post-origin.

More of Johns' no-nonsense Aquaman hopefully... #3 offered up some intriguing tidbits of future and past storylines to explore based around the biologist friend of his father's who wants to go to Atlantis.

Also their version of a newly arrived Wonder Woman marveling at the various things like Ice Cream seems to be another area that hasn't been explored much either.

It will be interesting to see where they go with Cyborg now being tied into the New Gods... did they ever explain what that glop was that ate him in the original Tales of the Teen Titans miniseries?

With the 3 GL books, nothing has really changed with the relaunch other than Hal in being portrayed as less experienced.

Batman, Detective and Batman and Robin are good reads to me. Really like Snyder's work. Hitch's title is disappointing.

I liked the third issue of Batgirl better than the 2nd, and I'm enjoying Nightwing.

Superman books are fun to me, particularly Superman.

Wonder Woman is fun and a nice gritty take on the character and Aquaman is as solid as you'd expect from Reis and Johns. Flash is also good

JL is good, too, but man it's coming together too slow. I'm betting Lee will draw 12 issues and that'll take us through the Darkseid arc and he'll be gone.

Red hood, Teen Titans, Catwoman and Superboy are OK, but not quite good enough to keep me buying. I'm waiting on the trade with Batwoman, although the art remains fantastic. I'm waiting on the trade with Shade.

I've dropped all the so-called Dark and Edge books. Just not enough there to keep me buying.

I'm at a point where I'm considering going digital, but as slow as these stories are, it might be better to wait for the trades/hardback.

Loving Both Superman Books but Action is taking the lead right now.

The Bat books are almost perfect. (Kinda miss the Selina knows the secret but i'm sure we'll get that back in a few years.) dropped Red hood cause I didn't like Kory's new portrayal.

Green Lantern books.they move slowly yes but at least they keep me interested

Swamp Thing. I never read the old series so all I know about Swamp Thing is what I'm reading now.

Flash: My negative views of the treatment of Wally West cannot be fully expressed on a family friendly site such as this. nor can the disillusionment of the Barry/Iris Marriage. all that aside, it's a very well drawn (and those flaws notwithstanding,) well written title so far.

JLI this is actually the league book I'm most interested in maybe because It got the gang together in short order and then moved into a storyline (unlike the Johns/Lee book which is taking way too long to do both)

JL as i said above It's taking too long to get the band together. personally I prefer JLA Year One

Aquaman: I can't say enough good things about this. of all the new books to come out of the DCnU this is by far my favorite!

Teen Titans/Superboy time will tell. I kinda miss the gang as we knew them.

Justice League Dark/Deadman. ok I can't really interweave these stories but so far I like what I'm seeing

Wonder Woman: gonna miss the 87-2011 version but at least It's holding my interest
                            dropped:
Green Arrow: held on for two issues but just not buying it. call me when Connor and Mia come back
Captain Atom: zzzzzzzzzzzz * huh, wha? YYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAAWWWWWWNNNNN!!!!!!
                            Blue Beetle: meh.
Savage Hawkman: So this is one of those that ignores everything that's happened the last 70 years?.....Pass!!!!
