Me too...It was, at that time, the best book DC was publishing. Unfortunately no one was reading it apparently and they screwed up by giving it to Giffen and DeMatteis, which further eroded readership. And then came "Flashpoint" and now Booster has been shuffled off to JLI...

Yeah, BK and Anthony, Jurgens' Booster Gold book is what I miss most in the DCnU other than Superman's underpants. Protecting the time stream with his boy, Rip, was great in the comids, and could work in a TV series. It would be a great way to include other DC heroes if the show's producers wanted.

The Booster episode of Smallville was very well done. Could almost be used as a pilot.

The guy in Smallville did a great job. I kind of hated that they crammed Blue Beetle into that one. I was really digging Booster.

I dumped JLI after two issues....even though it's Jurgens on the book I feel like his hands are tied from really handling Booster like he did in his solo book....

I was really hoping JLI would continue after Generation Lost, but it appears the character interaction and storyline they were building in that series was lost in the reboot. I know Winnick tends to get mixed reactions, but they probably would have been best served keeping him on JLI to build on the momentum and leave Jurgans on Booster Gold... Or if they did need to freshen it up for the new 52, make it a Booster and Beetle title (the Power Man and Iron Fist marketing strategy).

How about Jurgens and Perez co-writing and alternating six issue arcs artwork wise? Ted, Booster, Dan and George would be the best combo in THE DCU.
