One thing im really tired of is always using Luthor. Supes has so many great villains i want to see another given a chance. Brainiac is who I want to see. (The Perez designed one would be really nice)

Too bad they went with Zod,it feels a bit like a retread of something I don't really want to see again.

you have to remember that the Chris reeves Superman movies were pre-crisis. he played the part as written in the comics of the day

brnadon routh was fine as Supes but the story was lame and it killed the movie with all the lovey feely crap.

They said the same thing when Superman Returns came out and we saw where that went. This has a tall order to fill. Until its released and packs theater, nobody knows what the fate of this latest edition will be.

I think Henry will do a great job.

Zack has stayed true to the other comic movies he directed.
Watchmen & 300. Those movie adaptations feel just like the comics.
He even shot scenes to match the panels of the comic.

Nolan is rocking the Batman Universe.
He brings intellegence and action his movies...and puts Batman in them.

I think the franchise is in good hands.
            looking forward to awesomeness.

oh yeah, Superman 3...worst movie ever.

              ^Agreed on all points.

Chris Reeve is my Superman but I think Henry can do the job. I see the Immortals poster everyday at work and when I see him I think Superman.

Terrance Stamp will always be my Zod. I almost can't imagine anyone else in the role and every time he shows up in the comic I get miffed that they don't draw him like Stamp. He's one of my favorite bad guys. The new guy playing him is on Boardwalk Empire. He plays the FBI agent. I think he'll be good. He has a creepy vibe about him.

So far almost every superman movie has at least SOMETHING I like about it. Im sure this one will be the same.

You have to remember that Donner was under heavy pressure from the Salkinds to keep Superman's budget from getting out of hand....which it was already becoming. Donner had to take the ending of Superman 2 and tack it on to the first movie so it would be ready for a Holiday 78 release........

One of the first movies I ever got on Blu Ray was Superman: The Movie. Timeless classic. They'll be playing that long after we're gone.
