Joe Q is actually no longer a presence over in the comics side of things and mostly consulting on the movies/tv/media side of things at Marvel these days. (the Stan Lee promotion?)

The two guys in the Big Seats editorially are Axel Alonso and Tom Brevoort.

I know, but that doesn't just suddenly erase all the years of damage while he was there.

More & more it sounds like we need to start a forum for old crotchety comic collectors like me who just can't stand most new books since the early 80's.

Thor will be back. No doubt about it.

Maybe he'll lose the scale mail armour and revert back to a more classic look when he returns.
