Nice start. Hope they get to all the new mythology around Mera's people soon as well as Manta's ties to them. Perhaps the Pirana people tie into that, rather than just monsters for the first arc?

I just read "Death of a Prince" TPB and issue #1 of the new Aquaman & enjoyed both. I think the tone of the new book seems pretty good: some humor, but not at the expense of Arthur's characterization. And I"m so glad to see Mera.
