A lot of folks like that book. The lineup is interesting, but to me it's like the DCU goes to the Ren fair. I'm not a big fan of the Ren Fair.
        Hey! Check out the pictures.

After breaking down and getting acouple of these titles, I think I'm on board for maybe four.

Green Lantern was so freakin good for me. I love Sinestro, and having him in green again is an incredible dynamic from what we've had. Even as the jerk he is, in his current form he's teaching Hal some new stuff, lessons he needs. Jordan never really took the job seriously and thought neither globally or universally. His view has been myopic. Sinestro appears ready to expand his horizons.

Green Lantern Corp was really solid too. I like Tomasi almost as much as Johns. The artwork is superb and the first story arc looks to be a tension filled monster.

New Guardians was pretty solid too. I like the artist, and the first issue story twist could prove really cool.

Red Lanterns is okay. The art is incredible, but it'll be hard to sustain these characters long term.

Aquaman was good, not great. I love the art and layout. I just think some of the jokes used were a bit forced and layed on too thick. I know it'll get better, so I'm in for the first arc at least. I so want to see Arthur get some respect and fully attain badass status.

That's it for me I think. I almost threw up in my mouth with Justice League and all the sophmoric writing and everyone, including Superman, armored up. THe designs are completely distracting to me. I'll play the wait and see game with this. I know this story is in the past, so I may just hold out till a present day story line comes into play.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I'm on board for more than four but I am keeping a lot of these titles on a short leash...I've dumped quite a few already after only 2 issues...If I can't be hooked fairly quickly then they're gone...

So far I'm really liking Aquaman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman the best...

While I hate the new costume, the 2 issues of Action and 1 issue of Superman were really good to me, particularly Superman. Superman 1 had a lot going on in it and for the first time in a long time it was a real Superman story.

I really wish I had waited on the trade with Justice League. I've liked the cocky, show-offy, youthful interpretations of the characters for a change and I like Jim Lee's art. But, I really think it would read better as a trade. I've spent $8 and nothing's really happened but a few introductions.

Snyder's Baman title is excellent, and while I've never bought a Catwoman book regularly, I have to say I've liked the first two issues, probably not enough to stay on the series, but I still liked it.

Second issue of Swamp Thing lost me as did Animan Man. They just aren't my thing.

I'm there for GL and Aquaman. Liked the first issue of the Kyle GL book, particularly the retelling of his origin for some reason. John and Guy GL is a maybe. Did not care for Red Lanterns at all. To me, it was really an odd choice for a series.

I liked the first 2 issues of Wonder Woman, Nightwing and Bat Woman. Batgirl, not as much as I would have thought. The first issue of Flash was a breath of fresh air for the character.

Green Arrow gets two new writers, Giffin and then Ann Nocentti, which is interesting choice considering Artie always seemed a bit mysognistic to me.

Blue Beetle, Capt. Atom, Mr. Terrific, Hawkman will be short-lived in my opinion.

What I'm kind of wondering is whether the Justice League is actually together in the present of the DCnU. The book is taking place in the place in the past and there is the JLI with Booster in the present. Does that mean, the JL team with the Big 6 + Cyborg is disbanded in the present DCU? Looking forward to Johns/Frank on Shazam. (Bleeding Cool is saying it will no longer be Captain Marvel). Hope they do something fun with it.

I Vampire and Resurrection Man are promising. Demon Knights and Dark Justice League probably aren't for me.

I have no idea who that character is on the cover above, but with Darwyn Cooke on art, it's big win.

Holding his rumored JSA series will be in this vein as well.

Sticking with Frankenstein and OMAC, surprisingly enough Morrison's Action did little for me and seemed to not be much of a story. I expected a lot better from him especially after All Star Superman and what he's done with Batman,

                          Question on The Shade...

If DC has put the JSA on Earth 2, then how jacked up is Shade's history now?

It still works for the most part if it's set on Earth 2. Starman always tends to skate around Shade's role in Flash of Two Worlds anyways.

I'm not sure if there are any major Earth 1 players in Starman... Maybe Ralph and Sue Dbney? The time Jack asked the JLA to borrow a spaceship maybe?

The major crossovers were with Sandman Mystery Theatre and Shazam.

In issue #1, Shade is having a conversation with Mikaal Tomas (Starman III) and Congorilla is referenced...since they both served in the JLA during Robinson's tenure on the book I'd surmise that this story takes place on Earth-1 and not the new Earth-2.
