I loved me some minis during the 80's in high school. I enjoyed those I think more than most regular titles. I was reading way more Marvel at the time.

Machine Man - Barry Windsor Smith!

Hawkeye - I loved Gruenwald's work as a writer, but he actually pencilled this. Very fun read. Hawkeye rules.

Squadron Supreme - Again, Mark Gruenwald shines here. He took a bunch of characters I'd only read about in the Official Marvel Handbook and made me give a crap about them. Bob Hall's art was flawless.

Contest of Champions - This settled a lot of debates about who'd win in a fight. Wolverine versus Black Panther? Iron Fist versus Daredevil? I have got to see if this was collected and re-read.

Man of Steel - Byrne plus Superman = awesome. Just fantastic work.

Falcon - I have no idea why I liked this so much. Bright's art was stellar, and I always kinda liked Falconand thought he should be made a major player in the Marvel U.

Dark Knight Returns - I was the only one in my inner circle of geeks to like this. They thought the artwork was horrendous, I thought it fit the frenetic story. This still stands up against the best stories out there.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

        Hmmmm....

Grimjack: The Manx Cat was pretty good. So was Damage Control.

Super Powers. I remember being really excited for it as a kid and hunting down all the issues at the local grocery stores.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
