Upon seeing it in clear view...it's fantastic.
The Joker is truly frightening. Batman is serious and brooding.
Seems like Ledger is channeling some younger Nicholson there...but that's not inappropriate. As soon as Jack became..."Jack"...folks started wanting him for the Joker in a big-budget picture. Crazy Joker and Crazy Jack screen personea are VERY similar. Hard to get away from that and be true to the character.
Looks like they are playing up the angle of Batman inspiring the freaks, like they hinted at in the last scene of Begins. Great angle to take it.

Hey thanks guys. I did not realize they'd put out the actual trailer. I saw the teaser but that was it.
Hmm, I am always psyched for a Batfilm as long as Schwarzenegger and Clooney aren't in it.
I love Bale, dig Oldman and Caine.
I am waiting on the Joker however. Nicholson's was awesome and you can see the tip of the hat to it here. I don't know I am gonna wait on this one though. I am not digging his look.. I don't know? There's no finesse that Romero bought to it.
I am still not into the Tumbler. We all talk about Jack but the star of the first film was the Batmobile. I swear the first time on screen people applauded the car. It's still my favorite.
We'll see. Right now I am gonna have another look.Comment
