I trust Nolan to deliver a great film, but I must admit, I'm not floored by anything I've seen yet. Hopefully Catwoman does wear a cowl at some point.

Anne Hathaway is a great actress, and she is cute, but I always think of Catwoman as more obviously vampy and sexy.

But again, I trust Nolan. Don't let me down Chris...

I am I the only one not that into the Nolenverse?

I don't hate the movies or anything and they are well done. The style is just not my cup of tea. Never got into Bales Batman voice. Kevin Conroy and Michael Keaton talk in a deeper voice as Batman which works really well. But Bales always comes off kinda overdone and a maybe little hoarse and croaky.

Don't care for the Nolen Batmobile design either. Too bulky. I prefer the sleaker look of the Arkham Asylum Batmobile.

I do really like Michael Caine as Alfred and Gary Oldman as Gordon.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Although Hathaway may not be the best candidate to play Catwoman, you'll have to admit the bike, costume, and blue lighted glasses sure look awesome!

Wondering if this isn't an early appearance of her as just a thief (obvioulsy in possession of something that doesn't belong to her). Maybe this isn't her final "uniform." Maybe I'm just being optimistic.

These shots are better. Add a cowl and goggles and you're set!

This could be her first attempt at a costume. Kind of like in Batman Begins where he goes out the first time in a Ski-mask.

Anne Hathaway is cute but kinda bland to me. Sweet, but no spice. I have no opinion of her acting. She's never made a real impression on me and neither does the photo of her Catwoman.

Catwoman = Sexy and dangerous to me, and this isn't either of those.

I really enjoyed the first two - but I'm not nearly as smitten as a lot of the people I know.

I think most of the action scenes are messy and not blocked that interestingly, for one thing. I don't think I'm emotionally vested in the Bale Batman character. Which is why I think it was a very smart and calculated move to put so much of the peril on the innocent bystanders instead of Batman in the last film.

Thing is, these days these are pretty minor complaints - most movies of this genre don't seem half as component to me as these were.

I think they had a lot of fun with the premise of Batman and even added some fresh elements that really worked well for me. The Freeman character for one thing - was a great addition.

I'll check this one out - and I'm expecting to really like it. I'm not expecting to see it, go home and dump the rest of my DVDs into the trash either though.

DC and whoever is making these Batman movies should take a tip from these shorts/films:

THIS is the way to do a Comic Book Movie
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
                    The beauty that surrounds them
                    Isn't it a pity".

I agree. I like Anne Hathaway in most of the roles I've seen her in, but I also have a hard time visualizing her in the role of a vamped up sex kitten.

Maybe this will be a breakout role for her and we will be as pleasantly surprised with her performance as we were with Evan's ability to pull off the role of Steve Rogers.

She's fine...we all know Nolan by now...no need for shock...Nolan has his own unique take of comic book characters...he brought them to the silver screen with the intention of them being realistic...like how they would look in the real world.

This version of Catwoman is standard Nolan issued...no biggie...lol.

I really don't care for the look of this Catwoman. I think she doesn't look like Catwoman at all. She looks like a hot woman riding a bike. I don't see Catwoman but maybe they'll make her look better in her other scenes. I hope.

Anne Hathaway is nice eye-candy, but I agree that she doesn't really seem to have the natural sexuality needed to bring that aspect to Catwoman. I think she'll do okay, but Michelle Pfeiffer will always be THE big screen Catwoman for me and Julie Newmar just THE overall Catwoman...
