I still liked Dark Knight better than Captain America.

The Nolan Batman flicks kicks mayor arse...it's one the best damn superhero movies ever.

...and I liked Superman Returns as well...although obviously not as much by a long shot as good as Batman Begins/Dark Knight...but the movie is solid...not perfect (the kid storyline sucked, and yet another borefest Lex Luthor appearance again, lol)...but it's better than a lot of people give it credit for.

The Green Lantern on the other hand.

The failed Wonder Woman TV show...lol.

If it wasn't for Christopher Nolan though...you'd have a fantastic point...and I would've totally agreed with you.

BTW...not all Marvel flicks come out that great either.

Some are hits...some are misses.

But overall...yes...Marvel is EASILY winning the battle so far...WB/DC better get going...flicks like Jonah Hex and The Losers...ain't gonna cut the mustard...lol...




P.S. I did like V for Vendetta and Watchmen though...but neither were exactly box office hits.

i do agree that dark knight was good, but i like the first one better. really its because of schumacker (spelling?) that has caused some of my disdain for the bat franchise. i like the old batman tv show but theres just some things you dont do....
heard the guy who directed The Rockateer was the director on cap. the right person on the right product is everything. some of the best moments in the spiderman movies was its comedic moments and anyone who knows a little about Sam Raimi knows what to expect from him. Still think the last one was a real let down though. To much crammed in and would have rather have had a classic villian like the vulture or kraven in it. (Sandman would have even worked if they had given him more screen time). but that just my opinion....
What i really would like is for WB to get to the very essence of their characters. I still think the original Superman goes beyond a superhero film and is just really good filmmaking.
