Which incarnation of The Defenders is your favourite?

How about Defenders 62-64 when everyone and his brother was a "Defender For A Day"? Off the top of my head...Hercules, Stingray, Son of Satan, Black Goliath, Torpedo, Tagak (?!), Capt. Marvel & Ms. Marvel (though I think they left early on in the arc).
They fought The Zodiac.

The new lineup, with the exception of Colossus isn't to bad. Nice to see the Blazing Skull get some more screen time.

I love the Giant Siza Annual they had about 30 years ago with Doc Strange, Hulk, Namor (in blue outfit), Valkyrie, Nighthawk and special guest Daredevil.

Also the lineup up Doc, Hulk, Nighthawk and Luke Cage that fought the Wrecking Crew in issues 16-18.

i liked defenders because it highlighted many good villians and other characters throughout the series. The original series for me was the best. Of course i loved when Ghost Rider,Moon Knight and others rolled through.

The Hulk never really worked well with a team or group. I do, however liked the earlier editions.

got to be the classic team up for me Dr Strange The Hulk, Surfer and Subby IMO definately the best, anyone have any Idea who is in the new team

It appears The Champions were originally pitched as an Angel and Iceman buddy book. Man, these two guys didn't have any respect during the two decades they were away from the mainline X-Men book eh?

If you had told me in the eighties that Iceman and Angel were going to be in the X-Men movies, I wouldn't not have believed it. Although Iceman was an "Amazing Friend" and Angel did eventually get his respect by becoming Archangel.
