Yeah I got that dredd strip and was really suprised to see his name on a brit comic....and yes compared to Bolland,Esquarra and others his art was found to be wanting. I think with Byrne it all depends(as has been said in this thread) who the inker was and who the colourist was...black and white just don't cut it against the guys who cut their teeth on b&w strips(and inked their own work).
