Yes, let's fault the female security guard! I'm sure she was quite the imposing figure. 
Undoubtedly, it must have taken unprecedented courage and great nobility for Mr. Ifans to remove this insignificant obstacle from his personal & private pathway. (Move aside mere drop of water, let the ocean pass.) This is an important and busy man, his time is sacrosanct! While it’s understandable, if not paramount, for Rhys to take as much time as necessary in order for him to thoroughly enjoy the smoking of his cigarette, it’s simply outrageous for anyone to expect him to spend even a moment’s time to ensure that all members of his entourage are properly credentialed for VIP area access.
The Comic-Con Security staff, after all, is truly only there for a single, solitary purpose; to harass movie stars and their entourages. Comic-Con Security has such a rich history of harassing it's celebrity guests, that we really should simply negate any official reports and promptly defend & support the actor.
And let’s not forget to celebrate the novel occasion of an actor taking the opportunity to voice his deep-seated hatred and resentment of the United States.
