I have no nostalgic love for the majority of the 80s kids properties and cartoons...He-Man being an exception...

Don't blame the 80s for Captain Planet. Captain Planet is from 93.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

no way, the 80's were some of the best years ever in toys and cartoons if not the best

I liked the 90's as well just cause I was still a kid and grew up in the 90's

But come on the 80's ?

Nah. It'll be Ted Turner like in the Robot Chicken skit.

Nah, the MAJORITY of 80s cartoons were nothing more than glorified commericals for toys...He-Man, GI Joe, Voltron, Care Bears, Monchichis, Rubik the Amazing Cube, Rainbow Brite, Transformers, Thundercats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...Need I continue?

Heck even Super Friends got in to the act with the Galactic Guardians line-up featuring characters from the Super Powers line...
