Web shooters ?? yes cool,,, but I do not think i am wrong when I say,,, no webshooters in original spiderman comics,,,,, I think that is gonna be a marketing ploy,,, though I do have a set of web shooters from 1970's,, it has a lil suction cup dart that shoots out when you hit a button.. but still,, no web shooters in the original comics...

Don't really care for the redesign of the suit, why redo it if its still going to be close but not quite the classic design? You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

I'm sure they try to make the suit different enough to help with merchandising. They want it to be recognizable as being the "new" movie Spider-Man.Comment

The webshooters is about the only thing I like about this New Spider-Man.
That suit is for scuba-diving...don't like the eyes either...and Andrew Garfield's head is way too big...lol.
I actually already miss Tobey Maguire...

I like the way the shape of this suit form fits better than the Raimi version, it projects a more agile & wiry appearance, and the texture in the blue fields is OK.
That said, the overall design of this suit really bugs me, especially the lack of a belt line. I do not care for the texture in the red fields and I can't seem to get past the non-weblike webbing.
I'm hoping that the Twilight vibe this seems to reek is a false impression, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
And with Gwen tending to the battle wounds, are we safe to assume that Pete's secret, isn't?
That was one of my complaints about the first three movies, way too many people found out who Spider-Man is (Norman Osborn, a train load of passengers, Harry Osborn, Mary Jane, Otto Octavius, Aunt May (possibly), Eddie Brock, Flint Marko, and all onlookers in the street below watching the final battle who have a zoom feature on their cell phones & cameras).
Kid couldn't seem to keep a secret.Last edited by Dark Shadow; Jul 15, '11, 11:05 PM.Comment

I'm just happy that he's got webshooters in this version.
I'm keeping an open mind about this one. Might well be good!
Can't be any worse than Spider-Man 3, surely?PUNY HUMANS!Comment

My recollection is as follows: Issue #40, Norman finds out his secret; Issue #90 Captain Stacy reveals that he has known his secret; Issue #135, Harry discovers his secret. It took the course of 135 issues for 3 people to learn Pete's secret. Two were lunes, and the third died.
Aside from the periodic "false" unmaskings that were perceived as hoaxes, I do not recall anybody else learning that Pete was Spidey up until the Professor Warren clone storyline. Please correct me if I am wrong, it has been over 35 years since I have actually read those issues, so perhaps I am not recalling correctly?Last edited by Dark Shadow; Jul 16, '11, 4:56 PM.Comment

I really like the civies costume. I smell a custom. ...or something.
Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

I just got my new issue of Entertainment Weekly ...
I hate this new suit... Big time. Everything about it. It's horrible.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
always trading for Hot Toys Figures .Comment
