As a passing fan of the Amazonian Princess, I am glad to see her back in her short pants. There are some characters who are meant to show off their anatomy and WW has always been one of them.

          Superman on the other hand...

He looks more like Super-Hick or Super-Redneck on that cover.

I have a feeling DC will be doing A LOT of back-pedaling over the next few months as fans' feelings come to a head about what they're attempting to do....
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I don't like when an artist does the glowing red eyes thing with Superman. To me that always makes him look evil. Like his heat vision can't be turned off.
            It's all good!

She has pants again on the cover of issue 2 but her uniform accents look to be back to gold from the new silver. I don't think anyone at DC knows what they hell they are doing at this point.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I don't mind the pants and I really like the look of issue 2. That version of the outfit does not bother me at bit.

Wonder Woman is my favorite hero as well and I'd like to see her in both outfits. I'd like to see her in changing outfits myself. So show us the original but use the new too. That's what I'd like.

Ugghh, saw the cover to JLA 2 and Batman looks like crap. All armored and stabby looking. Jim Lee must have been a big fan of the Total Justice Fractile Armor. Just terrible.

And why is Superman looking at the "camera" instead of his armored up pal that he is trying to strangle?

So how do they reconcile the fact that Sinestro is Green Lantern, and Hal stripped of his ring in the GL books, while Hal has his ring in Justice League?

And why isn't Sperman dressed like Jethro from the Beverly Hillbillies?

Probably because there is no rhyme or reason with this relaunch. Or it could be the most brilliant planning EVER!!!

Hmm...doesn't look like the previous drawings of the Batman relaunch costume. Maybe he's wearing a special armor to battle Supes like he did in TDKR?

The first JLA arc is taking place 5 years prior to the rest of the relaunch books I believe....and Morrison's Superman is taking place even before that...

Maybe she just got chilly and put some pants on. If that's the case, I want to see a parka variation, with star-spangled snowpants and a fur hood.

and maybe Superman is doing the same? Its lame no matter how its explained away. I really get the impression that DC is hedging its bets when it comes to the Superman lawsuit. Be interesting to see the original 1938 Supes in a comic somewhere if the outcome goes in the favor of the creator's estates.

Don't forget the pants designed was because of the film/television development under Whedon when he was brought in to Buffyize the character for film. While he didn't make the look, the design work started around his time and held through Kelly's pilot. Now that the whole project is DOA until at least 2013, they're in flux. It's a kind of retconning so the studios don't have to deal with fanboy/girl backlash when the movie design doesn't follow tradition. So it's not the comic guys calling the shots, it's the DC-to-LA move and the involvement of the WB higher-ups who are freaked they can't capitalize like Marvel. Who do you think initiated the entire relaunch?

What do you think the new Superman is going to look like in Snyder's film?
