Wonder Woman might not have pants after all.

Now if they can only fix the awful color scheme. Gold and red would be nice.

Warning: Green Lantern spoiler in link.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

The blue/black boots are still really ugly.

An indicator that DC has no confidence in this relaunch, and is already back-peddling?

And the GL spoiler? I guess maybe the status quo isn't quite the same?

Agreed. If they change the silver back to gold and give her red boots it would really help the new look a lot.

Sorry, missed that. I will put a spoiler warning in my post.

The bare legs are an improvement...and I don't mind the rest of the costume.

Now to get rid of the choker. Looks like DC is already hearing the complaining about these pathetic redesigns.

I think the Batman redesign looks great. And I think it's about time Superheroes stop wearing their "underpants" on the outside of their clothing. It's a thing from the past and it's about time to let it go.

Me too with that costume. It looked fine.

Is this image without the pants real or did somebody photoshop it?

Batman looks the same to me, like his Return of Bruce Wayne costume. The lack of trunks on Superman really makes the uniform look more bland with nothing to break it up, its a design flaw that weakens the costume. Hoping the armored up Supes is a temporary thing, as it makes no sense with his powers, unless they are depowering him.

WW is my favorite superhero and has been since childhood and I absolutely loathed the pants. I'm good with little changes and updates, like changing the eagle to the WW symbol, and there have been lots of little tweaks and changes to her iconic outfit over the years and I also liked the WW greek armored outfits with the skirts.

But I really do not care for the 60s depowered secret agent look, the biker look and Jim Lee's recent 90s style XMEN jacket look with stirrup pants. They can modernize her without making her totally unrecognizable. I'd now be fine with the new outfit if they'd change the silver back to gold and make the boots red. I dislike the choker but I can live with it.

                        Hmmmm....

                        From Topless Robot:

                        >the previously advertised cover for Wonder Woman #1, which featured WW wearing pants, has been altered for that New 52 cover so that Wondie is now wearing her star-spangled shorts. I like the pants, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over her bikini bottoms. What I do think is noteworthy is that it's ******* July and the DCnU comes out in September and DC apparently still hasn't decided what its doing, even with its flagship characters.

I still prefer the shorts, but the long pants shown in that article make a better outfit than the Jim Lee design. It's not even a huge change from his, but I like it better. And I still think the choker is just fine.

I'm astonished that nobody out there has commented on the obvious fashion influence that Dogpatch is having on the DCU. That Grant Morrison is hilarious. I hope they have a Sadie Hawkins issue where Lois gets Superpowers and has to chase him around the world and across galaxies.

Yeah your're right, Batman's costume isn't a big change...I guess the reason it looks so good to me is that Jim Lee drew it.
