So Singer remade Superman: The Movie and now Snyder is remaking Superman II.

On one hand, it's nice Superman will have someone to fight toe to toe, but I'd really like to see something somewhat new.

Plus, the appearance of other Kryptonians really waters down the idea of Superman.

But Shannon has a very interesting presence on screen.

I really do like the choices being made with the cast and while mosts of Snyder's films have been flops at the box office, I've enjoyed all the ones I've seen. The Owl movie is a solid story for kids and it looked great.

I've wanted Zod to be the Villain all along, so I'm quite pleased. I wanted Superman to have someone to duke it out with on his level...and Zod presents a real challenge for him.

Zod, again? why do the movies continue to remake the reeves movies? Zod has been done to death in smallville and he will be seen once again before the series ends. Superman movie at this point needs to a) stay away from origin story b)Stay away from Zod and c)stay away from remakes or continuations of the original Chris Reeves movies. It needs to be original stories, A doomsday like movie would have been nice.

uggh, why Zod again? Yawwwnn. Try Brainiac, Bizarro, Doomsday, Parasite, hell even Toyman would make for a good psycho if done right.

I'm willing to wait and see. I don't know the actor. But just off the top of my head, I'd rather have seen a villain not yet brought to the screen, like Nolan did with Scarecrow and Ra's in Begins.

                      Bizarro would be freakin' cool.

That's part of my problem with this. Zod is a GENERAL. A military man. Stamp had a presence about him that will not be equaled. This dude hardly looks the part of a grissled leader at 37 years old. I'm not surprised Zod is the pick as Warner's was probably trying to take the safe road. Am am surprised they didn't go after Gerard Butler given his relationship with Snyder.

Maybe there is still hope for Braniac to appear somewhere in this and carry over into a third film. I highly doubt Nolan and Snyder aren't aware of the originality concerns on the web.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

I like the way the Timm's Superman animated series adapted Brainiac to having a Kryptonian background. I'm hoping the film incorporates that idea and possibly sets Brianiac up for the second film. or even the traditional Brainiac (silver-age version not byrne's redo).

While I would have rather them go with a different villain, Zod could be cool if they get the story right.

I would rather see Mr. Mxzy. No really. At least it could be interesting and have the possibility of NO DRAMA, just action!

Still, I am protesting any Superman hollywood flick until I see a "Directed by Sandy Collora" credit.

                              Seriously.
