Born to play the role

I think there are a few actors who were just meant to play comic characters. They either have the exact look or something in their DNA that makes them perfect for a role, though some now are way past their time to do so. This is certainly not a comprehensive list as I am only listing a few, but it's an example of how life imitates comics. I am leaving out C Reeve as SUperman and G Reeves as Clark Kent as those roles were perfect and flawless. I do think there was another who could have redefined the role in the 90's, though. Onto my goofy list...

Superman - Kevin Sorbo
Hal Jordan - Nathan Fillion
Daredevil - Casper van Deen
Guy Gardner - Sean William Scott
Wolverine - Glenn Danzig
The Vision - Peter Weller
Shazam! - Patrick Warburton
Hawkeye - Bradley Cooper

Or not. I'm probably way off the mark on a few of those, but I'm sure you guys and gals have some other offerings.

Afleck was Great as DareDevil for me.
& That New Dude Playing Superman looks the part more than Sorbo.
God Knows I love me Some Kull & Sorbo ..., But I like the other guy better.
& Reynolds looks like Jordan to me.

I think Axe is more looking at who would hae been great in a role, but never did it. Willem Dafoe for the Joker. Historically I would have loved to see Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone as Batman and the Joker. Danny DeVito was born to play Mr. Spacely, but the Jetsons movie never happened.
